What a great day at the Fort Zumwalt West High School.   Everyone was preparing for the Homecoming Parade. Signs were being hung from cars, and the band was practicing getting ready to start marching.

I had the honor to drive the Senior King and Queen through the parade route. What a super nice couple, Sydney Perry and Cole Oliver. They both are part of the band, but today, they were excused from playing. Of course, being chosen King and Queen, they are involved in many school activities.  They listed them off to me, but there were just too many to remember. :)

Sydney and Cole sure threw a lot of candy out to the crowds. I thought sure they would run out before we got to the first block.  But, they had enough to make it to the end.

The weather was great. It was perfect for this event.

Many members of the Route 66 Corvette Club has participated in many parades over the years, and each one is as exciting as the previous.

A big thanks go out to teacher Sarah Koeneker for inviting our club to this event.

I hope Sydney and Cole's dreams and plans become a reality. I gave them our club website to see the pictures. I hope they don't forget.
